Magic Bullets is a mobile-first microlearning sample on writing bullets that are clear, testable, and evidence-ready—especially for accessibility and compliance contexts.
Key facts:
Format: Genially microsite
Duration: ~7 min
Device: Mobile-first
Focus: Accessibility + audit-ready wording
I built Magic Bullets to solve a small but very real problem: bullets that sound “professional” but don’t actually say what to do. In accessibility and EU compliance training, that vagueness turns into confusion—and sometimes risk.
This microlearning helps learners rewrite “foggy” bullets into wording that’s clear, checkable, and easy to document.
What I focused on:
Turning intentions into requirements (what to do, not what to “ensure”)
Adding scope (where/when it applies)
Naming evidence (what gets saved to prove checks)
For this piece, I used a practice-first microlearning loop—short, focused, and built for transfer.
Flow:
Hook: call out the problem fast (“foggy bullets”)
Rules: simple writing principles you can apply immediately
Examples: MEH vs BETTER contrast to make the pattern obvious
Practice: quick A/B decision + guided rewrite
Transfer: final checklist learners can reuse while authoring
It’s intentionally lightweight: less theory, more “try it now.”
You’ll see the key screen formats, what each one teaches, and why it supports transfer. Get a fast view of my instructional thinking, microcopy craft, and ability to build a cohesive, portfolio-ready prototype.
This is an end-to-end portfolio sample I designed and built myself, with a strong mobile-first mindset and a “keep it usable” approach.
What I did:
Designed the learning flow and wrote all microcopy (rules, MEH/BETTER examples, A/B check, rewrite prompt, checklist)
Created the mobile visual system (neutral + teal, Inter, consistent card layout)
Built the prototype in Genially (microsite navigation + hotspots)
Documented the case for my portfolio and integrated it into Google Sites
Designed for mobile-first learning and accessibility-aware writing.
Built with: Genially (Free plan)
